Not really friendly employee. The food is good the traditional decoration and the killer is good. Some dishes is incredible and but some is hard to eat for foreigners, but you must come to this restaurant to eat

We decided to check this place out since everyone was recommending it. It’s a spot specializing in Uzbek cuisine, and we tried the Beshbarmak and Uzbek pilav. Personally, horse meat wasn't really my thing, but the pilav was good—though a bit on the oily side. ​The 'shalam' served on the side was nice, sour, and tasty. The atmosphere is ethnic and very pleasant. Prices are around 350-400 TL on average. A solid choice if you want to experience the local vibe :)

A great place to experience local food in Almaty! The food was delicious, full of authentic flavors, and the portions were generous. The ambience is beautiful, with traditional décor that creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Service was friendly and efficient, making the whole dining experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for good food, a nice ambience, and a taste of local culture. Will definitely visit again!

What a beautiful place. My husband took me there for an authentic experience. Unfortunately the service was a bit slow and the communication was difficult as they didn’t speak English, so we had to point to the menu and all worked well. The ambiance it’s beautifully decorated, very colourful and elegant in its on way. The food had huge portions. Everything was absolutely delicious. Highly recommended restaurant.

Our friends and locals were telling us to go to Navat while we’re in Kazakhstan and they’re not wrong. The food was delicious, portion generous and most importantly the price is reasonable. Restaurant is large, spacious, well decorated and even had live musical performances at different timings. Service was prompt and friendly. It almost felt like this was the Haidilao of Central Asia. And for food, highly recommend the boorsok (little fried bread), the pilaf and the crispy fried eggplant with sweet sour sauce. Honestly everything was yummy but these dishes were outstanding. A must visit in Kazakhstan!

We went to Navat because we really wanted to try a traditional Kazah restaurant. The restaurant has very nice decoration, the staff is welcoming and we got a complementary traditional drink before our order. The vegetarian options are very limited, we were able to only order vegetarian Lagman and potato pelmeni (please note that plov is not vegetarian, even if they would not add the meat at the end. The rice is cooked in a meat stew initially). The lagman was not our taste and the size was quite small. But the pelmeni were delicious. We also tried their raspberry limonade and we loved it (even though it was a bit sweet for our taste). Overall, we had a nice experience at Navat, but only 3 starts for the limited vegetarian options.

Navat is a very popular Central Asian restaurant chain, especially among tourists, and it definitely lived up to the hype. I’ve visited several of their outlets and found the food quality to be consistently good. What I particularly like is that they have an English menu, some staff can communicate in English, and there is a wide variety of dishes to choose from. The interiors are beautifully decorated, the seating is comfortable, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality and experience. A great place to try Central Asian cuisine in a comfortable setting.
